Das “Lurexweibchen” ist die Schalversion vom Tuch “Luxusweibchen”. (Beim Kauf des Tuches kann man sich den Schal mit einem Code kostenlos herunterladen.)
Das Muster ist eine Kombination aus tuck stitches und verschränkten Maschen. Seine volle Wirkung entfaltet es, wenn man deutlich größere Nadeln verwendet, als für das Garn normalerweise vorgesehen. Dadurch entsteht ein Lace-Effekt, ohne sich mit einem Lacemuster herumplagen zu müssen.
Ich empfehle eine Garnstärke von rund 400 m / 100 g. Bei dünnerem Garn würde die plastische Wirkung des Musters untergehen. Um nicht vom Muster abzulenken sollte das Garn keinesfalls meliert sein; ein längerer Farbverlauf könnte aber gut aussehen.

“Lurexweibchen” (lurex gal) is the scarf version of the shawl “Luxusweibchen” (luxury gal). (The shawl pattern includes a code to download the scarf pattern, free of charge.)
The pattern is a combination of tuck stitches and twisted stitches. It flourishes to full effect if you use needles that are significantly larger than normally recommended for the yarn. This creates a lacy effect without having to bother with a lace pattern.

Yarn weight should be around fingering (400 m / 100 g). Thinner yarn would minimize the effect of the tuck stitches. I wouldn’t distract from the pattern by using variegated yarn, but a gradient might look nice.
