Gauge: 21 sts in 4 in/10cm in stockinette stitch

You will need up to 30 grams (for newborn size) / up to 90 grams (for the largest size) of yarn in two colors.

The samples were made using Berocco Corsica, Drops Cotton Merino, Drops Lima and Drops Sky (4mm / US6 needles)

Please make a gauge swatch to make sure you match the gauge! The needle size will vary from yarn to yarn and from knitter to knitter!

Please check your yarn label to see the needle size the yarn manufacturer recommends to obtain the gauge, make a gauge swatch and adjust the needle size if needed.

The hat is knit flat.

You will need: yarn, needles to obtain the gauge, darning needles to weave in the yarn ends and sew the back of the hat, 4mm / G crochet hook if you are making crochet ties.
