Lusta Sweater
A sweater created out of my love for knitting. It is knitted in a sweet mix of everything fun, and allows you to indulge in many different techniques without ever getting bored. Lusta sweater is a project that will keep you intrigued from cast on to bind off, and the only downside of it is that it is almost impossible to put away…
Lusta is knitted from the bottom up, and the pattern is divided in sections with either written instructions or charts. First you knit the body, then the sleeves. Those three parts are then joined in the round before you crown the piece with a frill and a lace yoke.
The lace parts in the pattern is is based on the amazing work by Hitomi Shida, found in the book Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible.
Disclaimer: Please note that the sweater pictured is the first prototype knitted, so details may differ from the final pattern.
