Construction
The Lychee Scrunchie is basically half a scrunchie that can be tied around your bun or ponytail with a ribbon that is pulled through the scrunchie. First the scrunchie is knit back and forward in stockinette stitch, then the cast on stitches are knit together with the active stitches to fold the scrunchie in half. Then you continue in stockinette, cast off and sew that part in half to create a little tube to pull the ribbon through. The ribbon can be an icord ribbon or a lace ribbon!

4mm needles.

two threads of silk mohair held together. I used Julija Silk Mohair in the colour Ines. (this is a local Belgian independent dyer. This is their website: https://www.julijasshop.be/website/index.php?ProductCateg...)

I don’t know exactly how much I used of the skein because I had half a skein of 400 meters lying around and so don’t know how much I used of the total meterage… But usally 1 skein of mohair held double should be okay.

A needle to work sew the sides and the tube shut.
Double-pointed needles for the Icord
