“The pattern on this cap-sleeved jumper was inspired by an old notebook of Faroese patterns in the Shetland Museum,” says Mary Henderson. “The interplay of colours looks like stripes and shapes - so the black and white motifs in the notebook really came alive when translated into colours. The colour changes have a rhythm of their own, so are easily memorised.”
