Lyell Romper - P214

This romper was designed for the confident beginner knitter and makes a super-fast and fun project, with a simple fair isle/colour work pattern which gives this romper a super cute look. Romper is knitted in the round to underarm, then divided for Front and Back which are knitted separately.

This super snug romper is so delicate and soft and teams up well with the Evan Cardigan – P212 (sold separately).

MATERIALS REQUIRED
Yarn 50 gram Double Knit (DK) 8 ply MC Light Worsted. The yarn used for this little Romper was Drover & Classer Hand Dyed Wool - Bellvue Park Australian Superfine Merino 5 ply / Sport / DK/ 330 m /383 yds - 95 to 100 g per hank. However, any yarn that gives the same gauge/tension as pattern could be used.

MC (Main Colour)
A -- 85 g -- 280 m -- 325 yd
B -- 95 g -- 315 m -- 365 yd
C -- 115 g -- 380 m -- 440 yd

CC (Contrast Colour)
A -- 40 g -- 130 m -- 155 yd
B -- 40 g -- 130 m -- 155 yd
C -- 45 g -- 150 m -- 170 yd

NEEDLES REQUIRED
One set of circular 3.75mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles
One pair straight 3.75mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles

OTHER MATERIALS

Stitch marker
Stitch holder

TENSION / GAUGE
22 sts 40 rows = 10 cm (4 in) worked on 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles in garter stitch.
22 sts 30 rows = 10 cm (4 in) worked on 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles in stocking stitch.
