L.Y.L.A.S. Cowls
For anyone who didn’t grow up as a teenager in the US before the dawn of emails and instant messages, L.Y.L.A.S. is probably something that nearly every girl wrote on her notes to her best friends. It stands for “love you like a sister”. The idea is to get together with your best crochet friend to make these cowls. You each buy one of the yarn colors. You both make the first cowl, then you exchange that cowl and work the second one interlocked with the first. The end product is two cowls with the colors and patterns interchanged that you can wear with your L.Y.L.A.S. buddy!
I would generally say that this is an intermediate pattern, but I provide two videos if you’re a confident semi-beginner looking to go to the next level. The videos demonstrate the special stitches and other tips such as how to begin and end rows and how to hold the interlocking cowl.
Please contact me directly at any time for help with the pattern!
With most digital purchases, you are only purchasing one copy of the pattern (no sharing since we designers have to make our money somehow), but with this pattern, you are welcome to share with that L.Y.L.A.S buddy rather than purchasing 2 copies. Please no sharing beyond that though. Thank you for your support!
