Lynnewood Pullover
A classic circular yoke sweater worked from the neck down, the Lynnewood Pullover combines stripes, a band of stranded color work, and a lot of great texture. Contrasting ribbing sets off the bracelet length sleeves and bottom hems.
I chose neutral greys for the body, ribbings and stripes and had fun adding brights for the color work. Using a speckled yarn or a tonal hand dye would take the sweater in a completely different direction, as would all neutrals.
Working from the top down allows you to try on the sweater at several different points of construction and modify the body length and/or the sleeve length for a custom fit; these points are noted in the directions.
The sweater is designed to fit with 2-4” of positive ease, so the ten sizes cover a wide range of fits. The sample shown is worked in size B (35” finished chest) with 3” of ease. When choosing your size, figure your chest measurement plus the amount of ease you want, and select the size closest to that.
