While the pattern is written for a medium shawl it can be scaled larger or smaller by changing the number of repeats you do for Chart A. You can also modify the size by changing needle size or the type of yarn you use.

This shawl can be severely blocked to gain size.

It is also quite lovely if you use two colors. The model was done in shades of blue and green, picking up the contrasting color from one of the highlights in the yarn used for the main body.
