Thanks to a wide range of sizes with this pattern you can knit a hat for everyone in the family. It’s name came from the fact that I knitted each sample in a different light pastel colour and the result reminded me of macarons.

The Macaron Beanie is worked in 1 x 1 rib and has a folded edge. The beanie is worked bottom up in the round with one strand of merino together with one strand of alpaca silk.

Baby size: 43-45 cm / 16.9-17.7” head circumference.
Toddler size: 46-48 cm / 18.1-18.9” head circumference.
Child size: 49-51 cm / 19.3-20.1” head circumference.
Teen size: 52-54 cm / 20.5-21.3” head circumference.
Adult S size: 55-57 cm / 21.7-22.4” head circumference.
Adult M size: 58-60 cm / 22.8-23.6” head circumference.
Adult L size: 61-63 cm / 24.0-24.8” head circumference.

Yarn:
1 or 2 skein of Drops Daisy or Drops Merino Extra Fine
hold together with 1 skein of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk.

A széles méretválasztéknak köszönhetően a család minden tagjának köthetsz sapkát. A névét arról kapta, hogy a mintadarabokat különböző világos pasztellszínekben kötöttem meg és a végeredmény emlékeztetett a macaronokra.

A sapka 1 x 1 patentmintával készül és visszahajtott szegélyel rendelkezik. A sapkát alulról felfelé haladva, körben kötjük egy szál merinó és egy szál alpaca selyem összefogásával.
