The Macaron Heel is a double heel in German short rows, with a nice depth, that can replace the heel of all your socks. It integrates seamlessly into the stocking starting at the toe or ankle. It’s simple, sturdy, comfortable and hole-free!

The pattern includes instructions for making it in 5 sizes (56, 60, 64, 68, 72) stitches.

My Gauge
30 stitches x 42 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in stockinette stitch in the round, after blocking.

The gauge does not play a crucial role since the size is chosen from the number of stitches in your knitting pattern.

Notions
You won’t need anything more than the needles you already use to knit your sock.

Le Talon Macaron est un talon double en rangs raccourcis (German short rows) qui peut remplacer le talon de toutes vos chaussettes. Il s’intègre au bas qui commence par les orteils ou la cheville sans problème. Il est simple, robuste, confortable et sans trou!
