Macduff Bag
This pattern is
available for free.
This is a very simple crochet pattern, using dc(UK)/sc(US) and chain stitches only to form a bowl shaped bag with a single length of crochet cord used to make the handles. These reinforce a very sturdy construction, best made with a dense, heavyweight yarn. The pattern includes notes on adapting to thinner yarn or making a different sized bag. I’ve been making bags like this for years - because they are highly functional as handbags and can carry quite a bit of shopping. Hope you enjoy making one :)
