Maceron is a summer tee knitted seamlessly from the top down, with a scoop neckline and a fine lace panel all over the back.
The piece is started at the back neck, shoulders and neck are shaped with short rows. The beautiful round lace pattern is worked on the back.
After that stitches are picked up along the sloped shoulders for the fronts. The back lace pattern which continues down the front in a vertical line, in perfect continuity. The pieces are joined at the underarm and the body is then knitted in the round
and finished in 1x1 ribbing.
The sleeve and the neckband stitches are then picked up from the body and worked in the round.

The adjustable length and simple construction make it an easy to customize project, that can be worn as a summer top or pullover.

The pattern includes full instructions for knitting a pullover version with long sleeves.
Lace pattern is described with both charted and written instructions.

Shown in size 2 with 16 cm of positive ease.

Please be aware that adjusting the length of the garment will also affect the amount of yarn needed to finish the project.

Gauge : 26 sts x 34 rounds = 10 cm /4 inches in 1/3 ribbing pattern on larger needles, after blocking.

Needles
• 3,75 mm US 5 circular needles for the body and sleeves.
• 2,75 mm US 2 circular needles for ribbing.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Maceron est un tee-shirt estival qui se tricote du haut vers le bas sans couture.
On commence par réaliser le dos dans un motif de dentelle tout en rondeur et sinuosité. Les mailles sont ensuite relevés, on réalise les épaules puis chacun des demi-devants.
Dos et devant sont ensuite réunis sous les emmanchures, la suite de l’ouvrage se tricote en circulaire.
Les finitions du corps et des manches sont en côtes semi-torses.

Le patron comprend toutes les instructions pour tricoter une version pull avec manches longues.

• Aisance recommandée entre -5 et 20 cm.
• Taille du vêtement terminé, mesure prise à la poitrine –aisance comprise-

Tricoté en T2, il est porté avec 16 cm d’aisance positive.
