The Machi is a relaxed fit with dropped shoulder sweater and knitted bottom up. In the beginning, the front hem and back hem are worked separately and joined at the sides. Continue knitting in the round, in stockinette stitches along with eyelet cables on the sides of the body, up to armholes and under-arm gussets. Next, knit the upper body flat and then join the shoulders with decorative shoulder bands, which continue in Argyle cables to the sleeves.
Recommended to be worn with 10-30 cm / 4-12” positive ease at bust. The sample shown is size 1 with 29 cm / 11-1/2” positive ease.

330 (370, 430) grams of Baby Yak Lace / mYak (350 m per 50 g), Approximately 2310 (2590, 2940) m lace weight yarn with held double.
The sample was knit in color MUSTARD.

Machiは Bottom-upで編むドロップショルダーのセーターです. 裾を前後それぞれ編みサイドで 繋げ, 両サイドのアイレットケーブルを編みながら脇下のマチまでを輪で編み進みます.
前後に分けて往復編みを始め, 襟ぐりを形成したら 前後左右の肩のステッチを休ませて 肩のアーガイルケーブルと編みながら繋げていきます. 袖は,脇下〜袖ぐりの目を拾ってから輪に編み, 上部のマチを編みながらアーガイルケーブルを続けて袖口に向かって進みます.
身頃も袖（アーガイルケーブルから袖のカフへステッチが続くように設計しているので、アーガイルケーブル1パターンづつ伸ばすことをお薦めします）も短めのデザインですが、お好みで伸ばすことが可能です.
