This pattern is designed to be used with store bought ball ornaments approximately 3.5 - 4” in diameter.
These ornament covers are great uses for scrap yarn, trying lace patterns, and playing with colorwork.
We have provided a formula to help you crank covers based on your Dean and Bean’s Sock Machine’s gauge.
-For a 4” ball, you will likely have the best results with a 64 or 72-needle cylinder
-For a 3.5” ball, you will likely have the best results with a 60 or 64-needle cylinder
