Lovely draped fashion forward , special effect thread lace poncho , knitted on a Brother 260 machine, but any bulky/Chunky machine that does pattern knitting will work

This poncho really really only takes an hour to knit.
the secret of the effect is in the pattern which creates the texture and drape of the fabric.

One size really fits all and anyway , it is very simple to make bigger or smaller as you will see from the diagrams.

Both written and diagram instructions included., After making one you will be able to adapt the idea for your standard gauge machine easily.

I used 250 grams of Aran weight yarn , and a small amount of 2/30 weight acrylic for the thread. , although amount may vary depending on the yarn you choose.
Infinite varieties can be made by experimenting with other yarns, and you will absolutely love wearing it.
