The pants are knit on a standard gauge machine without a ribber.
You can use whatever yarn you like if the gauge is correct. I have used Nord and Alpaca from Drops.
Knitting tension: 28 stiches x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4x4 inches)

The pants are knitted down up. It is knitted in two parts and is sewed together at the inseam and at the crotch
