Machu Picchu Cowl is the second cowl in my Peruvian Cowl series. This cowl is inspired by the amazing architecture of Machu Picchu. I was especially drawn to all the terraces carved into the mountain leading up to the Sun Temple. This motif gives me the feeling of watching the sunrise over Machu Picchu. The colors are inspired by traditional Quechuan clothing which often uses bright red or black as the background to some truly amazing colorwork motifs using every color of the rainbow.
