This crochet beanie was inspired by Michigan’s Mackinac Bridge. It features sections of straight and diagonal post stitches that create a textured chevron pattern mimicking the columns and cables of this
iconic bridge.
Materials:
- A little less than a skein of Caron Simply Soft Tweeds
- 5mm/H Hook
Abbreviations:
• I use US Terminology
• Ch(s): chain(s)
• Dc: double crochet
• FpDc: front post double crochet
• BpDc: back post double crochet
• FpDtr: front post double treble crochet
• Sl st: slip stitch
• Hdc: half double crochet
• Hdc2tog: half double crochet 2 together, half double crochet decrease
