"Mad about Plaid" Wrap
Are you Mad about Plaid? Here’s your chance to create a beautiful plaid wrap for yourself. It’s nice and large, allowing it to be worn by different body types and in many ways; on it’s own, or with the use of a shawl pin or belt. The Merino/Cashmere blend makes it luxuriously soft and warm, while the DK weight makes it incredibly light. Knit it as shown, or choose a color combination that you love and make it a one of a kind creation. The stitches are simple, just knits and purls for the most part. The color blocks are accomplished using the “Intarsia” technique; for great instructions on the use of this technique I highly recommend Anne Berk’s “Annetarsia Knits - A New Link to Intarsia” … you can find all her excellent resources on her website here.
