Our new Mad Cape is so fun to make and so snuggly to wear! I’m so glad I can finally get it back out and wear it in the shop! This cape is essentially a BIG, gorgeous square, folded at the diagonal and then sewn with some fun finishing bits to make it into an amazing poncho. The knitting is super easy, but the rows are quite long after a bit! It is VERY easy to adjust the size. Just continue with the rows, or stop short to make it the perfect fit for anyone! If you don’t use Alpaca Moda, make sure you use something VERY light, lofty and bloomy to replicate its qualities - maybe another brushed yarn like Stargazer Brushed.
