The cardigan is worked from side to side, beginning at center back and ending at center front. The first half is worked with a provisional cast on, and the 2nd half stitches are picked up from this cast on and worked in the opposite direction. The long sleeves are done with raglan shaping. The center back incorporates short rows at the lower edge to create a rounded shaping. The colorwork is done using slip stitches so you never use more than one color per row.
