Mad Day Out is a lacy, light and colorful shawl - perfect for spring time, when the temps cool off in the evenings. It’s worked sideways in a boomerang shape and it uses a mixture of garter, lace and a bit of short rows to create visual interest. It lets you play with colors and makes a great use of these gradient kits or mini skeins that many of us accumulate.
If you are curious about the name, it’s inspired by the Beatles Mad Day Out photo session.
