Mad Plaid
This richly textured scarf is knit flat and has intermittent rows of slipped stitches to make it even more interesting (and more fun!).
You will need at least two colorways if you wish to make the scarf a colorful patchwork one as shown in the photos. It’s a great stashbuster and you can add as many colorblocks as you wish! One skein of Squish Like Grape Worsted in the colorway Rainbow Fade and almost an entire skein in the colorway Northern Lights were used to make the scarf in the photos.

STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
To make this scarf you need to know how to knit (k) stitches, purl (p) stitches and be able to slip stitches.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
The finished scarf measures approximately 48” in length and 10” wide. The scarf is adjustable and can be made larger but please note that you will need more yarn if you do.
The gorgeous closure shown on the scarf is the Lock Toggle Leather Closure by Jul Designs and can be purchased here.
