Medusa, the epitome of femme fatale <3

This crochet fascinator style headband is everything I love. Feminine with a side of creepy. Color, twisting snakes, baubles, and swirls. There is nothing quite like making your own costumes, one of a kind is divine.

You can make this as elaborate or simple as your taste desires. At minimum, you will need a 1/2” headband, various worsted weight yarns in small amounts and stuffing. If you want to be extra, it is the perfect way to use small scraps of yarn! You can also add rhinestones and feathers to go next level!

No wire is involved, the stitches support the snakes. It is balanced upon the head quite well.

The pattern is intermediate level and many photos are included. Placement and close-ups of each embellishment is also included. I want to ensure you can create it exactly as I have if you so desire.
