Madame Moo - the Udderly Perfect Mother is a quirky knit for gift giving at Mothers Day. This chubby cow has been knit in two different styles and with two different yarn weights.
Madam Moo Intarsia version is the cow that is done in white, brown and rose colours. The pattern gives line for line instructions to achieve the intarsia spots knit into the body, head and limbs. She has been knit in Loops and Threads Woolike Fingering Yarn and stands about 9” tall.
Madame Moo Embroidery version is the cow that is the larger of the two and is knit in Carons Simply Soft Light (3) yarn. She appears in white and baby pink yarn and has a myriad of black spots embroidered onto her body after she is assembled. The spots are worked in satin stitch and you can add as many as you desire. She is about 10” tall… and super chubby!
Full instructions are given for BOTH versions of this design. You can work her in the style of your choice.
This pattern can be used as a Mothers Day gift.. she would make a wonderful pin cushion…. or as a softie for the younger members of the family.
