MATERIALS: Shetland wool is suggested, Seven ounces of Patons and Baldwins real Shetland wool. Colour 2000, two needles, size 12, and five needles, double-points, size 10, will be needed.
MEASUREMENTS: size 36. For every size above or below this add or subtract 20 stitches (10 in front and 10 at the back).
STITCHES: (1) Ribbed stitch (for the waist, cuffs and yoke), 3 purl, 1 plain; (2) garter stitch (collar and neck opening), plain both sides; (3) diagonal stitch (body and sleeves); right side; 3 plain, 1 purl;: reverse row: 3 purl, 1 plain. Every second row you start the rib one stitch further to the right in order to make a diagonal line.
