Intermediate (must have general knowledge of basic knitting stitches, working in the round, decreases, shaping.)

DESCRIPTION:
PDF instant digital download includes pattern with instructions on how to hand-knit 3D star ornaments in two styles, approximately 5” in diameter and about 1.25” thick (depending on stuffing) using worsted weight yarn, as well as how to modify for various gauges.

YARN:
Approximately 0.5 oz/ 15 grams per star of Size 4 Medium Worsted Weight yarn (2 sides, and sewing closed).

MATERIALS:
0.5 oz / 15 grams (approximately 30 yds / 28 meters) of worsted weight yarn
Six count US 7 / 4.5 mm double pointed needles - OR - use magic loop method (use the size yarn calls for or one size smaller)
Optional: US 8 / 5.0 mm DPNs (for cast on only)
Fiber fill or another fiber stuffing of your choice (alpaca fleece, raw wool, etc.)
String of your choice for hanging up
Locking stitch markers

SIZING: As written, results in stars about 5” in diameter and 1.25” thick (dependent upon quantity of stuffing)
