Made of Ticky Tacky
This striped washcloth makes use of a common tapestry crochet technique - crocheting over the yarn as you work each row. The result is a durable, flexible washcloth with only two ends to weave in when you are done. If you hate weaving in billions and billions of ends for something as small and quick as a washcloth, but you still want all the colors, then this pattern is for you.
Each square uses about 30 yards of each color. The pattern as written is for a 7”x7” square and uses chain and single crochet stitches. It includes instructions for easily changing yarn on each row and a basic stitch guide so you can make the washcloth as big or as small as you want.
Specific colorways used in the photo:
Green - Lily Sugar and Cream Ombre in Psychedelic, Lily Sugar and Cream Solids & Denims in Hot Green.
White - Lily Sugar and Cream Ombre in Guacamole, Lily Sugar and Cream Solids & Denims in Ecru.
Red - Lily Sugar and Cream Ombre in Calico, Lily Sugar and Cream Solids & Denims in Country Red.
