About the pattern
Madeira is a fitted crochet dress with a deep V-neck with straps and a full-circle mini-length skirt. Its main feature - lace motifs on the bodice (both front and back) and skirt, done in filet+ technique.
The dress is worked from the waist: you first work the bodice (front and back separately) from the waist up, then the skirt (also flat, but connected in the round as you go) from the waist down (so easy to add length if you wish to). The pieces are then seamed together with an optional invisible zipper on the side.
Note: the dress is rather see-through, so you might want to wear it over a thin slip.

The pattern is fully charted with some written explanations, but you have to be able to read charts in order to make it.

Sizes
3 sizes for 81 (86, 94) cm / 32 (34, 37)“ bust

Yarn
Any summer-content (cotton, linen, silk, viscose) yarn in light fingering weight (~500-600m/100g or 545-655yds/3.5oz). You will need a total of ~2500 (3000, 3500) m / 2735 (3280, 3825) yds - exact yardage will also depend on the yarn you choose and your row gauge.

Crochet hook
I recommend size 1.5-1.75mm / 7-5 steel, but some testers chose an even smaller or larger size to get the tension and size they wanted.
