  • Size: 26” x 64”

  • The first printing of this pattern had the gauge information as 20 stitches = 7”. It should read 30 stitchese = 7”.

The shawl is in the shape of a long rectangle with a narrow band of garter stitch on each side. The pattern is knitted across the width of the shawl. There are 7 motifs across the end. After knitting a band of chevrons and 2 bands of motifs, the number of motifs is decreased in the center to form an insert one motif wide on each side. The center is knitted in stockinette stitch. A diamond is knitted at the mid-point after which the pattern is reversed and knitted to the other end. A lace edging is to be knitted across each end.
