Madeleine is not a special cookie, but I feel happy and relax when I smell Madeleine’s sweet and buttery smells. I designed a pullover like a Madeleine, feeling easy and relax, very wearable.

Madeleine pullover is the over-sized pullover, knitting with reverse stockinette stitch. It fits 21-25cm/8¼-9” positive easy, that’s not too much.

Most knitters feel easy to knitting than to purling. Madeleine pullover is knitted on wrong side. After finished, turn the pullover inside out to let the wrong side be the right side.

Modeled with 23cm/9” of positive ease.

• Needle : 4.5mm(US 7), 5mm(US 8) over 80cm/32” circular needles.

• You’ll need stitch markers, safety pins or scrap yarn, extra needles for Three-needle-bind-off.

마들렌은 평범한 쿠키입니다. 하지만 그 달콤하고 상큼한 향을 맡으며 먹을 때 느끼는 편안함과 행복함은 다른 쿠키들이 줄 수 없는 느낌이라고 생각합니다. 마들렌은 마들렌쿠키처럼 일상적이고 평범해 보이지만 입기 편한 풀오버입니다. 쉽고 편하게 뜰 수 있으면서도 평소에 잘 입을 수 있도록 핏을 조정해 디자인했습니다. 오버사이즈 핏의 풀오버지만 과도한 오버사이즈 핏이 아니라서 부담 없이 입을 수 있습니다. 완성 사이즈의 가슴둘레에는 약 21-25cm 정도의 여유분이 포함되어있습니다.

착샷은 25cm 정도의 여유있는 사이즈를 입고 찍었습니다.

마들렌 풀오버는 안뜨기면이 겉으로 나오는 풀오버입니다. 그래서 뜨는 과정의 겉면이 완성 후 안면이 됩니다. 대부분의 니터들이 안뜨기보다는 겉뜨기를 수월하게 느끼기 때문에 뜰 때에는 안면에서 겉뜨기로 뜬 다음, 편물을 뒤집어서 안면이 겉으로 되도록 입게 디자인했습니다. 도안에서의 겉면은 완성 후 안면이 되고, 안면은 완성 후 겉면이 됩니다.
