Madly On Cardigan
Mental health is something that has intrigued me since my teenaged years. I studied psychology in university in an effort to learn more about myself and the people around me. But while the knowledge I gained changed my perspective and helped me understand my thoughts, emotions and behaviours, it did not protect me from them.
I had my first existential crisis when I was 5. During the pandemic lockdowns last year, I had another. I struggled to eat, sleep, and find pleasure in activities I love--even knitting. I listened to “World Spins Madly On“ by The Weepies and cried daily.
This oversized cardigan was created for those days you just need to be cozy at home, and be okay not being okay. One day soon, I hope for it to become a little piece of comfort when I step back out to rejoin the world in motion.
There are 9 sizes included in the pattern.
