Madrid is a seamless A-line cardigan with a gently rolling front. It is made in two pieces, with each piece beginning in the round at the cuff of a sleeve. Stitches are then provisionally cast on for the body, and each piece is worked flat toward the center, using short rows to shape the front and back. The center back and sides are grafted together, and each front is bound off with a tapestry needle. Photo tutorials are included for the crocheted provisional cast-on, hiding short rows, and performing the sewn cast-offs.
