Madrileña
Madrid is an amazing and vibrant city where everyday rituals are infused with beauty. That is where the inspiration came for this market bag Madrileña. Each lace pattern in the bag reflects a different design echoed throughout the city and as is typical in Madrid, patterns from different times and of different styles are mixed fearlessly and result in something wonderful.
I love that lace can be used for something so practical. Fill this bag at the market and the lace patterns come to life. The colours and forms of the fresh fruit and vegetables look spectacular. Even leaving your full bag on the table when you get home from the market looks lovely.
This bag is knit in one piece in the round from the bottom up. The bottom is knit with 4mm dpns, the body with 6mm circular needles and the strap with 3mm dpns. Instructions are written.
