Madrona is inspired by the changing colors of tree leaves and the new chill in the air that marks the beginning of a wonderful new season: autumn. Worked in DK weight yarn, it is a fast and satisfying knit that gives lovely results and is sure to be a favourite during the coming colder months.

The shawl is knit from the top down, increasing 4 stitches every other row. Both written instructions and charts are given for the lace leaf pattern.

A note about size and gauge: One size, approximately 53.5”/136 cm wide X 19.5”/50 cm long at center point. While gauge is not so important for this piece, it will affect the amount of yarn used and the finished size of the shawl.
