Thank you for your interest in my Mae’s Flowers Crochet Pattern. This is a project that has been in the works for over 25 years. My gram started making these flowers for an Afghan back in 1994. I inherited the Afghan when she passed away about 20 years ago.
Notes:
Flowers can be made in a solid color or a variety of colors.
I am left-handed so the pictures may look different for you.
Below you will find step-by-step picture tutorials for Right and Left Handers.
There is a left handed video tutorial for the making of the flowers.
I used my scrap yarn stash, using variety of colors of Worsted/Aran Weight Yarn in the making of these flowers. I used between 2-5 yards of yarn.
You can use multiple types of yarn for your flowers from this crochet pattern.
Be sure to check out my Ravelry Store for my Mae’s Flower Garden Afghan. You can use the Mae’s Flowers and find out how to connect them to make your own Mae’s Flower Garden Afghan.
