Oversized, textured triangle shawl knit flat from the top down. Alternating sections of stockinette and garter stitches in the body of the shawl evoke the meeting of water and land, and are inspired by my fascination with traditional garments worn by fisher folk and sailors in the British Isles.

Pattern is one size. Finished measurements: wingspan 80”, center depth 42”

Skill level: easy - intermediate.

Required techniques: long tail cast on, directional and non-directional increases, purl wise bind off.

Kit comes with enough yarn for one shawl, knitting needles (if you already have the size required you can choose to exclude them from your kit), a printed pattern, and a small garment spray perfect as a scented addition to your blocking process & added moth protection.
