Size: Mother Hen – 9 inches tall, Basket (with handle) – 12 inches, Baby Chicks – 2 inches
Difficulty: Intermediate. An advanced beginner might be able to do this.
The hardest part I think would be the Bobble stitches being done in double stranded yarn, but my testers did not have a problem with it. Only the basket is done with double stranded yarn.
Stitches (US) : sl, sc, inc, dec, hdc, hdc inc, dc, dcinc, dc2tog, mc, shell, bobble, and thermal. There are instructions included for the bobble, shell, and thermal stitches.

The yarn I used: worsted weight, 4 ply.
