Maggot Amigurumi from Tim Burton's Corpse Bride
by Ann D'Angelo
This pattern is
available from etsy.com
for $3.00.
From the first time I saw Corpse Bride, I have loved and adored Maggot, who lives inside the Bride’s head and acts as her conscience, but in a much cooler way than Jiminy Cricket ever did for Pinocchio.
This pattern yields a Maggot that is about 13 inches long from stem to stern, and it gives instructions for adding wire to make Maggot fully poseable, the way he appears in these pictures. There are no fancy or complicated stitches in the pattern, just sc, HDC, and 2sctog, or single crochet decrease. There are also lots of photos to help out with the wire.
For more details on the extras you’ll need (or may want) to make Maggot, see the pattern page.
