This crochet pattern was designed to be part of my oldest daughter’s rainbow unicorn Halloween costume last year. I love taking her direction when it comes to projects that she will be the one enjoying, and this one turned out absolutely amazing. The bonnet style hat paired with the floral accents make it a unicorn accessory that stands out from the rest.

Materials
DK or CYC Category 3 Weight Yarn 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins about 240 yards a piece. I used AJHC Wools Unicorn Magic. Get it here.
Scrap yarn in four colors. You can really use anything here, be creative! I used bulky weight Caron Pantone by Yarnspirations because the colors perfectly accented the hand dyed yarn I used as my base for the examples shown here. I used Lion Brand Feels Like Butta and 24/7 cotton on the original. I suggest four colors for three different flower colors and then a color for your horn.
