Magic Hat #9
“If you don’t know where you are going, any road can take you there.”
-Lewis Carrol, Alice in Wonderland
Named for one of Vermont’s most well-known craft beers, Magic Hat #9 is a simple Fair Isle hat design that uses subtle details to add beauty and sophistication. Casting on in a contrast color and then immediately changing to the main color creates a lovely line of distinction. Four contrast colors are used in this classy design, with only two colors stranded at any one time, making it a great project even for Fair Isle beginners. Using classic crown decreases, the hat is finished with an optional pom pom. The unisex design makes it a great gift for anyone in your family.
