I have been asked for a “magic loop” pattern many times when I teach the class so here is a very basic baby hat pattern that will fit NB to about 3 mos, maybe even older depending on the baby
This will give you a pattern actually written just for magic loop and show you how it relates to any other hat pattern.
I have worked a girly pattern with some eyelets after the ribbing and a plain one a bit larger for a boy
I used Vannas Choice worsted which is a fairly heavy yarn so if you use a lighter worsted, your size may be a bit different.
Less than 100 yds is needed so easy to try with some leftovers-have fun experimenting!
