This is a basic magic loop sock pattern for beginners. It is my go to sock recipe. I always recommend knitting socks out of yarn that has a little nylon included in the fiber content. The nylon will make them stronger and they will last longer. The nylon is not as important for worsted weight socks because they are thicker.
