This simple little hat is knitted flat, on 2 needles and seamed.

Knitted bottom up from a decorative mock cable rib to incorporate contrast colour bobbles.

You may finish with a pom-pom, or as illustrated with curlicues - instructions included.

It is a straight forward (one evening in front of the t.v.) knit and quite suitable for a novice knitter.
