The Magic Mushroom Shawl is the newest edition to my family of ‘shroomer projects. While the stitch pattern combines rows of classic shells, single crochets, and clusters to create the illusion of mushrooms, the edges hold the secret to creating the angles necessary to achieve the perfect triangular shawl.

Crocheted with the Hobby Lobby’s Yarn Bee Bamboo-tiful yarn, the cotton and viscose fibers from bamboo, have a wonderful drape. The shawl simply surrounds you with luxury.

Choose at least 3 colors to keep the mushrooms distinct but make sure that you choose and odd number of colors.

The pictured shawl uses 6 oz white, 6 oz linen and 8 oz mist. The extra mist is used for the border.
