The cowl is versatile and can be knitted with almost any thickness yarn as long as the needle size indicated on the yarn is used,the tension is not such a big deal.It has a pattern repeat and can be made wider than the pattern indicated,it all comes down to your own fitting ease.
It looks gorgeous with solid,semi solid and long colour lengths yarn as well as the the thinner weight yarns doubled with a little blending looks really super.
