Halloween may be over but the autumn goes on. It’s high time to crochet mushrooms. My Magic Shiitake is different from the other mushrooms: it has an eye which it can try on and take out or even accidentally drop. The pattern contains 5 options of an eye for the perfect fit and your choice.

The mushroom’s measurements are 8 cm x 8 cm x 6 cm if you use fine/sport cotton/acrylic mix and hook 2,0 mm like I did.

You’ll need any 4 colors: for the body, cap, inside of the eye socket and the iris of the eye; white and black for the eyeball and the pupil.
You may also need a cabochon eye if you choose this eye version.
