Magic the Gathering Blue Mana (Island) Potholder

This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
This is a free chart for a blue mana symbol square that can be worked up as a potholder or as a square for a scarf (or a blanket!).
As a potholder, this square should be paired with another square for a nice, thick potholder that will protect your hands from Shivan dragons and Kitchen Ovens, not to be confused with Kitchen Finks. You can do a plain back for your island, or you can pair two different mana symbols to make a guild potholder. If you choose the second option, do be sure to use very similar yarns, or ideally the same type of yarn by the same maker so that you get two squares that are the same size.
