Magic the Gathering Green Mana (Forest) Potholder
by Ann D'Angelo
This free chart is designed to be a Magic potholder, but you could easily use it as a square in scarf (or even a blanket).
To keep your hands safe, I strongly recommend making a second square to serve as the back of the potholder - either another mana symbol or a plain black square. If you do make two mana symbols, save yourself serious heartache and make them with the same type of yarn from the same manufacturer. While testing, I tried to marry a Bernat plains to an I Love This Yarn forest, and the marriage pretty much crumbled. It was a sad day indeed.
